Bushiangala Technical Training Institute is now accepting candidates for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment under the CDACC framework.
RPL turns years of practical work experience into a formal, nationally-recognised TVET qualification — no classroom hours required. The five trades open for assessment are:
- Masonry — bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, finishing
- Electrical Installation — wiring, circuit installation, testing
- Cosmetology — hairdressing, beauty therapy, salon management
- Fashion and Design — tailoring, garment cutting, sewing, design
- Food and Beverage — culinary preparation, food service, hospitality
Assessment is candidate-based and typically completed within 6 months. Fees are charged per module: KSh 3,500 for institution assessment or KSh 2,000 for workplace assessment. Successful candidates receive a CDACC certificate of competency recognised across Kenya and the East African Community.
To express interest, contact the RPL Co-ordinator on +254 702 092 440 or info@bushiangalatechnical.ac.ke, or visit the RPL page for full details, fees breakdown and enrolment steps.
