Madam Lucy Mwanzi Muhavi is the Principal of Bushiangala Technical Training Institute. A seasoned educationist and technical trainer specialising in Food and Beverage production, she previously served as Principal of Khwisero Technical and Vocational College before joining Bushiangala TTI.
Madam Lucy is credited with growing trainee enrolment at Bushiangala TTI from 450 in 2023, when she joined the institution, to over 2,000 trainees currently.
Mr. Owade is a long-serving, passionate academician and trainer specialising in Applied Biology and Research. Upon joining Bushiangala TTI, he served briefly as Head of Department, Applied Sciences, before being appointed to the Registrar's office.
Before joining Bushiangala TTI, he taught at Kisiwa National Polytechnic, where he served as Head of Department, Medical and Applied Sciences, and later as Sports Officer. Previously, he served as a teacher and Director of Studies at Mukumu Boys High School for over thirteen years before transiting to the TVET sector.
Beyond academia, Mr. Owade is an ardent tennis player and coach.
