Learn to Drive at Bushiangala TTI

Bushiangala Technical Training Institute, in collaboration with AA Kenya Driving School, invites interested persons for driving courses. All classes are conducted at the Bushiangala Technical Training Institute premises by experienced, NTSA-accredited and certified instructors.

Entry Requirements

Must be aged 18 years or above and possess a national identification document or passport. Must be of sound mind and capable of taking in instructions.

Duration & Schedule

6 weeks for beginners; 4 weeks for truck and PSV endorsements. Classes run Monday to Thursday and Saturdays from 9.00 am.

Other Benefits

Subsidised learner's handbook, free Class C (light/medium truck & bus) exposure lessons, and free basic defensive-driving awareness training.

Note: The GOK (NTSA) charges — PDL KShs 650, Test Drive Booking KShs 1,050, IDL KShs 750 (total KShs 2,450 for beginners) — are paid directly by students to NTSA via the NTSA eCitizen portal.

How to Enrol

  1. Deposit at least KShs 8,000 (or the full amount, KShs 17,000) into the Bushiangala TTI fee collection account: KCB Kakamega Branch · Account Name: BUSHIANGALA T.T.I · Account Number: 1102702188. Payment by bank deposit or banker's cheque only — cash is NOT accepted.
  2. Obtain and fill a registration form, available at the Registrar's Office, Bushiangala Technical Training Institute.
