About the Department
Applied Science
A warm welcome to the Applied Science Department. The department focuses on providing skills and practical knowledge to trainees in various scientific fields. It plays a very instrumental role in according all the necessary assistance to trainees in all aspects of their development — including career guidance and industrial linkages with relevant industries — hence promoting their career success.
The department has fully equipped laboratories, enabling trainees to conduct experiments and practical sessions, data analysis and the development of innovative solutions to real-world problems. It also has a team of very competent trainers and experienced professionals with expertise in their respective fields, who not only provide instruction but also mentor and guide trainees — ensuring their academic and professional growth.
The department has three sections: Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, and Applied Sciences.
