Welcome to the BTTI Library
The Bushiangala Technical Training Institute Library is a central pillar of academic life on campus. It provides a quiet, welcoming environment where trainees, trainers and staff can read, research, study and access a broad range of learning materials. The library supports every department and every level of study, from foundational Level 3 trades to advanced Level 6 programmes, and is dedicated to nurturing a culture of reading, independent learning and information literacy.
Combining a well-stocked collection of print books with a modern NComputing digital lab, the library bridges traditional and digital learning — ensuring every trainee has the resources they need to succeed both in their studies and in the workplace.
What the Library Offers
Book Collection
A wide range of textbooks, reference works, technical manuals and general reading covering every department — engineering, business, applied sciences, ICT, hospitality, fashion and more.
NComputing Digital Lab
A modern computer lab powered by NComputing thin-client technology, giving trainees access to computers for research, e-learning, typing assignments and building essential digital skills.
Internet & E-Resources
Internet access for online research and study, supporting trainees in finding current information beyond the print collection and developing information-literacy skills.
Reading & Study Space
A calm, well-lit reading area with study tables where trainees can concentrate, revise for assessments and work on individual or group projects.
Reference & User Support
Friendly library staff on hand to help trainees locate materials, use the catalogue, borrow and return books, and make the most of the library's resources.
Support for All Programmes
Learning materials aligned with the CBET curriculum, supporting coursework, industrial attachment preparation and assessment revision across all departments and levels.
Using the Library
Library membership is open to all registered trainees, trainers and staff of Bushiangala Technical Training Institute. Members can borrow books, use the reading room, and access the NComputing lab and internet for academic work.
Library etiquette:
- Maintain silence and a calm atmosphere at all times.
- Handle books, computers and equipment with care.
- Return borrowed books on or before the due date.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the library.
- Use the NComputing lab and internet for academic purposes only.
