About the Department

Building and Civil Engineering

The Building and Civil Engineering Department trains the artisans, technicians and engineers who build Kenya's infrastructure. From housing to highways, from plumbing to surveying, our trainees learn through extensive on-site practice combined with theoretical foundations.

Our workshops include fully-equipped masonry, plumbing, carpentry and concrete-testing laboratories — giving every trainee the hands-on experience employers demand.
