Liberal Studies

Communication, life skills, languages and general subjects that complement every trade.

About the Department

Liberal Studies

The Liberal Studies Department delivers the common units that complement every BTTI trade — communication skills, life skills, languages and entrepreneurship. We help trainees become not just technically competent but well-rounded professionals who can communicate clearly, work in teams and adapt to changing workplaces.

Our staff bring expertise across the humanities and social sciences, ensuring trainees graduate with the soft skills employers consistently rank as just as important as technical knowledge.
