Bricklaying, blockwork, plastering and finishing skills built through years on construction sites.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) turns the skills you've already built on the job into a nationally-recognised TVET certificate — no classroom hours required.
Recognition of Prior Learning is a formal assessment process that gives you a nationally-recognised qualification for the skills you have already learned on the job, through apprenticeship, or through years of practice — without having to attend classes.
At Bushiangala TTI, RPL runs under the TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC) framework. On completion, successful candidates receive a CDACC certificate of competency recognised across Kenya and the East African Community — the same paper a classroom graduate earns.
Pick the trade closest to your work experience. Your RPL Co-ordinator will map it to the specific CDACC modules you can be assessed on.
